Following your morning meal, commence your journey back to Marrakesh, which will be a different experience from the preceding one. The day’s exploration commences with a tour of one of the fossil mining workshops in the town of Erfoud, providing insights into the geological past of the area. Afterward, proceed to the Todgha Gorges, a magnificent rocky valley in Morocco, before traveling alongside the boundaries of both the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas, ultimately reaching the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Finally, arrive in Marrakesh, the conclusion of our expedition.
Following breakfast, your journey in Marrakesh will commence by traveling south towards the High Atlas Mountains, traversing the rugged Tizi n’ Tichka Pass at an elevation of 2,260 meters. Throughout the journey, there will be ample opportunities to pause and capture panoramic photos until reaching the Draa Valley situated in the heart of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Continuing eastward, the route will lead through a dry desert landscape, passing by various palm oases along the way. Upon nightfall, you will arrive at the Erg Chebbi area, characterized by towering sand dunes, offering an exceptional and memorable experience amidst the dunes. The adventure will begin with a camel ride into the dunes to witness the sunset and then proceed to the desert camp to spend a tranquil night beneath a star-filled, clear sky.
